However good the software may be, there is still a place for books in the training process. Some parts of each subject are best learnt from text and static images: the higher resolution of printing is easier on the eyes and this, plus portability, give books a continuing role in learning.

We have selected a few titles, which complement our range of programs. They are all compact, well written and excellent value.  Every yachtsman should carry one or other of the Skippers' books for ready reference afloat.
