RYA RECOGNISED COURSES

LightMaster Nautical Training is recognised by the RYA for teaching their Small-Craft Radar Course and the VHF DSC Radio Short Range Certificate Course.

Comfortable, Well Equipped Training Rooms

LightMaster courses are held in purpose-built meeting rooms at the modern Jurys Inn hotel in Croydon, which is only 20 minutes from central London by train, and served by an extensive network of public transport and roads. Students will have the use of networked computers running state-of-the-art training simulators, and full visual aids which facilitate engaging presentations.

Special Bonus

Don’t stop learning at the end of the day! Any one-day course can only provide limited practice in using the techniques it teaches. Courses at LightMaster are special – at the end of the course you will receive PC software which allows you to continue building your experience, and to keep fully in practice. A course with LightMaster is the ideal way to really learn the subject. The fully-featured, hands-on Simulators will boost your confidence and make successful operation of your equipment become second-nature.

RYA SMALL-CRAFT RADAR COURSE

Radar can be the most useful navigation equipment aboard your yacht, but if you are not properly trained and experienced in the use of this equipment, you will never get the best return on your investment, and you may even be misled into making dangerously flawed navigational decisions.
