I am an RYA tutor, but only teach 1-to-1. Can I use an individual licence?

You can only use the individual licence for you own, personal, study. Any teaching of another person needs the Shared-Use licence(s)

How many PCs can I run on a Site Licence?

Previously we have said ‘any number of PCs at one site’. Unfortunately we have experienced some abuse of this principle (e.g. 400 PCs on one licence). The standard Site Licence now covers 10 PCs at one site. Please call us if you need to use more PCs than this.

I am a tutor, but have no premises. I teach in different locations for each course. Can I have a Site Licence?

We can offer the equivalent of a ‘Site Licence’ in a personal name. This will cover you for use in different locations, but the software is only licensed for use when you are present. If the software is installed on PCs at locations where other people might have use of it in your absence, you must uninstall it before leaving that venue, or buy licences to cover that specific venue.
