Delivery

What delivery methods do LightMaster use?

Most UK deliveries of small quantities of product are by standard first-class post, with proof of posting signed by the Post Office. A flat fee of 4 pounds is charged to cover the actual postage, plus packing and time required for despatch via the local Post Office.

Urgent deliveries can be sent by Special Delivery, which normally guarantees delivery by noon the following day. Special delivery is charged at about 4 pounds more than the standard postage for small packages.

Overseas deliveries are normally by Royal Mail Airmail. For an additional fee we can use Airsure to certain countries, but only 26 countries, mostly in Europe, accept this service. Airsure combines ‘first flight’ despatch with tracking to destination.

Alternatively, we can use International Signed For service to most destinations. This does not offer faster service, but does offer compensation for any lost packages.

We do not usually use couriers, since their charges are very high, and taking packages to the courier office, and completing their special paperwork, can take as much as two hours or more, which must be charged to the customer.
