Payment Options

What options are there for payments within the UK?

You can pay by Debit or Credit Card, BACS, Internet Bank Transfer, or Cheque. Official Orders can be accepted from local and national government bodies.

The simplest method of payment for low-value purchases is by debit or credit card, since the transaction is rapid and charges are low. Details required are: Card Type (Mastercard, Visa, Switch, Maestro, Solo), Card Number, Expiry Date, Security Code (Last 3 digits from signature strip). Maestro and Switch also require the Issue Number, if shown, or the Valid-From Date. Please note we are unable to accept American Express.

For BACS or Internet Transfers, please contact us for bank details.

Cheques should be made payable to LightMaster Software. Please remember to include Post and Packing in the value of cheques.

If you still wish to send by e-mail, then you can separate the details into two messages, with second identified only by one of your names, plus town. e.g. Philip from Newtown. Card details can be sent by e-mail, fax, phone or post. For additional security, card details could be divided between separate e-mails with just some unique detail from your name or address to identify the second e-mail. As long as we can identify you from these words, we can combine the details to accept the payment.

What options are there for payments from outside the UK?

Orders are best placed via our secure online order page alternatively card details can be included in fax, phone or post orders.

How do I keep Card Details secure on e-mail?

We are not aware of any instance where e-mails to us have been intercepted, but we strongly recommend you use our secure online ordering page.

As long as we can identify you from this word, we can combine the details to accept the payment. It is unlikely that we would receive two orders from one city, with the same personal names, on any one day. We can also compare sender e-mail addresses to resolve any uncertainty.
